Never hesitate to do a shot just because it has been done before. Doing something popular is usually successful. There is nothing wrong in getting inspired by other people's work. I make a living doing that :)
It is very beautiful. I just wish the second hand was not there. But I guess the new father was concerned :)

Wow! She is a "TWO-HANDER"!! Really well done- and cannot be over done, IMHO. Every baby is unique, so every parent treasures this shot of their child. Very well done with tones and mood. Love it!

Yes, it has been done. But then, so have sunsets and other things. Just as each of then is different, so is thispose with ever precious little new life. The lighting is very complimentary. She has such a look of contemtment knowing she is safe and loved. A keepsake shot.
