Nour El Refai   {K:12631} 6/18/2005
Woww, i am flattered Injy, you know what, the contrast you are talking about is so much deep, not only in the painting, but in the whole project
actually the upper left side symbolizes the urban fabric of the old cairo, while the lower right symbolize the new Azhar park, and my project is an edge between them, connects two different forms, functions, social background. thank you so much, and i am happy that you liked my first layer of my first oil painting

Inji Amer   {K:22997} 6/18/2005
Dear Nour ,Think there is somthing wrong that the first half of my comment have been cut :))
any way , it's a beautiful tableau my dear & now I can see La Elaha Ela Allah clearly in the middle , is there any other words yet in this amazing drawing ?
So beautiful my dear , really great .

Injy, Would you believe me if i told you that i never intended to write it :)
i was amazed to see it after i draw it, there is something healing in it, and it is actually so much similar to my architectural project which is three spines (exhibition, educational, and existing) and the square is a wekala type.
the form comes from the idea, location and function, thanks again

Linda Bique   {K:73220} 6/19/2005
Wonderful colors and contrasts, and an interesting about. This has a very abstract look Nour. I see a person in blue creating the diagonal and separating the two visions of work. Very well done, I always enjoy your use of color and your vision....very well done dear friend....:):)Linda

susan darcey   {K:601} 8/8/2005
Ive never really been into abstract, but Im getting a real strong feeling about this one.

All the warm colours remind me of all these built up emotions people display, and then that bright blue coloured line resembles to me of when some one builds up there emotions for sooo long and they finally let the wall down and this big gush of emotion just come pooring out.

And that is what the painting makes me feel. The feeling you get after you have just final let all those thing inside of you, out into the open, you feel free and at peace with yourself, its has an instant calming effect.

This is a great painting I could look at it for hours.
