or
would you give to me
your violent mouth,
raw
your deaf pain,
bitter,
your eyes
as butterflies
of broken wings,
slopes in two,
murdered
on the rocks of the sidewalk,
under the feet of the rough child,
the feverish child.
hungry?
would you teach me
the pain, the fear
of madness,
the fear
of your absence
when you love me,
when I'm alone?
