Congratulations on the award.... the colours in this are truly amazing. The deep purple reacts well with the green bg and the DOF is truly breath-taking. A creative look at what could be seen as normal.

I just came upon this one while surfing this site. Excellent work, Jorg. I especially like how you've caught portions of both the outside and the inside of the bloom within the zone of sharpness. It really makes the image out from the floral crowd!
