| About |
This is from the shoot with Alastair Bell a few weeks ago. It's the canopy of a petrol station forecourt and 2 lights.
Was about 1AM, the shutter speed was about 15 sedonds so you get a bit of movement in the old leaves.
It's a shot of nothing essentuially, but to me that's what worked. The main cmpositional element is the diagonal from top left to bottom right - so it's essentially just an abstract.
Out again with Alastair tomorrow - if this gets any response, then I may try something similar

.....we'd had a curry and few pints, it wasn't pretty :-)
It's a wierd time to be out, but there's not that much going on so you're undisturbed most the time.
seen a few bars in Leeds with this kind of stuff on the wall, and reckon that black to right could be ideal for a caption too.
something totally different though :-)
Cheers
Ade

Nice experiment, Ade! Worth trying a similar thing again, I would say. Clearly not everybody's 'cup of tea', but it works for me. Best regards, Chris

Something to click when nothing around !
Is it the curry or the kingfisher clicking?
Great to see you and Alastair developing a great friendship out of our uk meeting.
regards, ken.
