Brilliant composition and Dof. It creates a felling that theres a mist around the subject. Very moody, B&W as a suberb choice.

The focus seems on the grass foreground. This is a good choice, imo. The rest blurs off gradually. I liked the tones and square format view. Regards.

Aceasta imagine ma face sa ma intreb cine-i persoana respectiva si ce cauta intinsa pe iarba.
Deci e o imagine buna :)

So great!! This has the special Holga feeling...is this an old cam,you used?Love this effect.

Lalage     {K:2406} 6/22/2005
An old russian camera, zenit...I also love the Holga effect, unfotunately I don't have one and I've been told they're not that easy to find :) But I hope I'll get one some day :)
Thanks, Ursula.

Adorable image. Great tone. I like the use of focus and compo, making the grass and the place the main character with the feet 'added' so to speak. /Hansi

Lalage     {K:2406} 6/22/2005
I didn't expect this, Hansi! What a surprise for this evening - and I truely missed your images!

Ursula Luschnig   {K:21809} 6/22/2005

Thanks a lot, Ursula! You gave me a good idea, there surely must be sites where to buy a Holga!
:)

Fantastic shot Lalage!!! A favorite!!! I likethis low angle, the dof, the crop, and the feeling of don?t knowing whats going on. It could be a happy person relaxing in the grass and reading a book, it could ALSO be a victim....
The interpretation are mine are mine are mine

Excellent work! 7/7

Thank you, Jeanette! :)

Hi Lalage,

I like especially the toning and the DOF here. Quadratic format is also great for the subject. Really a nice work.

best wishes,

Thilo

This is a very interesting picture. I can't really put words to the feeling I get, but I find myself staring at this photo. It's something about the details and the surreal associations I feel in it. It makes me think, I like that. Very nice.
