About San Antonio is positively exploding with color, as all the bushes are blooming in white, pink and blue. This is a shot I grabbed (insisting that the driver pull over) departing the Texas Folklife festival, combining two San Antonio staples: blooms and the Hemisphere Tower as a background element.

Oh, and GO SPURS! ;)

Nice flowers (I'm not a 100% sure about the tower). BTW, just got a call from the Spurs, they saw your message, and told me to assure you it's gonna be a winning year :~> Mark

I read you profile about you photograph and winning. That's great nice to see people get recognition. Good for you. Like the dof on this one. Excellent idea and composition.

Absolutely, Pablo!
Keep shooting and keep hope alive!
It's your EYE and your ideas that will win, not how many pixels! ;)

Thanks for stopping by, and please feel free to make suggestions on anything you see in here.

Thanks Lori!
I'm just on a kick right now where I want my images to be recognizably San Antonio. As we drove past this bush, the tower was behind us, but I saw how to play the angle, and kindly backed up traffic for 90 seconds. ;)
Ok, Margaret pulled over to the curb, but the car behind her just sat there, so everyone else was stuck until *I* was through. ;)

LOL....that is something I would do. So glad to here that others do that also sometimes!!
L:)
