Excellent capture Jim!
Very beautiful hummingbird!
I like this PS work.
Really beautiful image, but I think I made this bird look artificial or a draw.
Will you post the original pic with less PS?? ;)
Roberto.

Wonderful capture James! I like the colors and every detail of this nice bird! It's a little bit harder to take captures of birds i think! Congrats and my best wishes... 7/7

I'm impressed, James. You have taken a great picture and done the right things in PS to make the presentation even better. Very nicely done.

I love the way he is just touching the edge of the frame as if you painted it with sugar water. :)
Very nice like the composition , colours great PS work

A beautiful hummer, Jim! Looks great!
Dave.

Very nice composition, Jim, with the subject wire sharp and standing out from the background. The blurred edging goes well with the background. Nicely done! Larry

Roberto, attached is the original image. I didn't like all of the noise and the heavy saturated background. Thats why I tried to play around with it using photoshop. The sun was shining brightly on ther subject but the background was in the shade and shadows (sun hadn't gotten over the tree's yet, so it really showed off the noise of the higher ISO. It's still not a bad shot but I wasn't thrilled with it so I just played around;)

Very 3 dimmentional, I feel like this little bird is coming right out of the screen. Beautiful! Alison

Very, very nice! I like the duller backgound of the PS'd version, but I like the composition of the original better. I don't like his bill touching the frame.

Ned Ali   {K:11901} 6/22/2005
nice PS work .. but, personally, i'd have liked to see more space ahead of its beak (as in the original shot).
the original image is wonderful as it is, though.
best regards,
ned

Simply awsome! I like what you've done with PS. I commented on your hummer photo back in May saying I could'nt wait to get a shot this year. Well we have no Hummers at all! I've usually got five or more fighting at the window all Summer long. Not this year! I suppose something bad happened to them in South America. Oh well, better luck next year. Your whole portfolio is awsome. Keep up the good work. Regards, Rick.
