I've said it before Jase, I'm not interested in birds at all...but have to say the original of this is composed beautifully. Gotta love the 20D hey!!

Wow beautiful closeup Jason, the detail is perfect, I like the light in the eye, perfect!

Dwight Parks   {K:4423} 7/5/2005
Stunning detail and great colors. I like the dof and it looks as if he was doing a little mugging for the camera. Thanks again for your suggestion on my photo "Waiting" You turned a so-so photo into a keeper for me. Regards, Dwight

Gerhardt Thompson   {K:1991} 7/6/2005
Absolutely fantastci. A well chosen DOF has turned the background into a complimentary wash of colours wjhile separating your subject from it. The details of the bird are exquisite, as is the profile. So much more to share here then if we were there seeing it with our own eyes. The diagonal of the branch is fortuitous. A pleasure. Cheers, Gerhardt

Orazio Minnella   {K:47083} 7/7/2005

Regards

Beautiful shot! The feathers on its breast are captured so well. Lovely blurred background colours. Great work.
