Europe time..Good morning Joggie.Mooie tegen licht op name van de zee meeuw. Hoe is het weer in Zuid africa! Wij hebben hier in Holland extreem warm weer boven de 35 graden!! (Hand held betekent dat niet dat je de foto hand matig heb gemaakt?

Groetjes vanuit warm Holland.

Riny.

Hi Riny - I live in George, a town known for it's unpredictable weather. We often experience 4 seasons in a day! But it is lovely though - personally I dont believe in something like "bad" weather. Rather let's call it necessary weather since it may be bad for one and excellent for another! With handheld I meant I used no tripod in low light conditions.

Dank je wel voor de informatie daar heb ik wat aan!!
Fijne dag nog!
Groetjes uit Enschede. (Home town)
Riny.

Hi Joggie, very interesting capture, maybe could be better if you put it in Alone Project, but anyway...thaht's not important.the sharpness and Depth of Focus is great, i'm just a bit distract with the lack of light o the bird( as the main subject )

Zannoni Matteo   {K:12208} 6/22/2005
ottima luce,

Pace e salute, M.

Hi Kiarang - thanks for your comment. I share your sentiment with light on the bird. The fact is i was shooting against the light and had to underxpose (-2fstops) to get the detail in the highlight areas & reflections. The bird then became a silhouette to a large degree. I tried the shadow/highlight adjustment in PS but dropped it since the results appeared to artificial for my taste. Kind regards.

Your choice of positioning the subject in a frame always amazes me. It is always creative and goes perfectly along with your title. A great subject once again !
