Hi Manu,
You're right, the medium size looks better. Probably because you don't see as much that it isn't focussed perfectly. But, besides the composition and the colours that works good for me, I like the look in his eyes. For me that is what makes this an honest portrait!

He should have a copy! Worth every ounce of effort Manu. Wonderful spirit in his expression. I like the flow of white and light with the dark skintones. Have to love those layers. :)
