About Hey, Elvis could be gaudy and my wife was not around with her black jacket for this one so I used a piece of black velvet for the background. This is the first asiatic lilly to pop in our garden this year.

Actual exposure 1/320 - f/8 from EXIF

Arthur Kornienko   {K:10369} 8/10/2005
Hi Jim, beautiful contrast with the background and lighting is supberb are are the colours of the Lilly. How do you like the Canon 100mm. I was torn for a long time between it and the Sigma 150 2.8 which I eventually got. The Canon though, is an excellent lens and your pictures certainly show that, in your hands of course, pictures are excellent. Keep up the great work. Regards, Art.

Hi Jim, this truned out really nice, I like that look, funny you should say that about the Elvis look! It really does look good in a black frame and, I have matted some in black velvet as well, really looks great.
