You are so right about the things you say, but viewing your work and etc. your forming your own "reputation" or in other words "style." Thats a good thing, but you'll fall into what you are saying about photography.
Photography is like a girl friend, its very high maintenance. To me its like a addiction and I have lost lots of girl friends because of it. It also help me deal with really bad things in my life.
I realize that no matter what in life, you have to give something to get something. No matter what it is...
