simple; like the abstract here; well spotted

Steve Hennerley   {K:5737} 6/23/2005
Hi Lauri -

great abstract - I thought at first it was a guitar fret... Very nice perspectives - and yes - I'm agree the B&W version is more effective....

kind regards

Steve

Good capture Laurie... wonderful lines, lighting and shades as well as sky reflection on the windows.
Well done,
Khaled.

Great abstract Laurie, love the angle. I don't know which version I like more. I do like how in this version the reflection of the clouds are more visible. Nice capture!

Robert Kocs   {K:89061} 6/23/2005
There is simple, but great abstract capture Laurie! Good composed image, perfect b&w effect. Congratulations. Robert

Hi Laurie,

Very nice in B&W too!! I love the added contrast B&W gives to the photograph.

pan giannakis   {K:17033} 6/24/2005
This one is my favourite of the two.The B&W works better with this image. Beautiful lines.

Peter De Rycke   {K:39402} 6/24/2005
Great b&w work .. the rhythm of the lines, the reflections in the windows .. Peter

Pierre Martin   {K:3355} 6/25/2005
Great abstract Laurie! Love the gradient!

Alastair Bell   {K:29571} 6/25/2005
This is superb. The geometric shapes really stand out on the dark reflected skies. Easily as good as any architectural shot I've ever seen published in a book!

Ian Crean   {K:14863} 6/25/2005
A good suggestion P.J., and a great conversion by you making good use of dark to light transitions, good diagonal perspective. Excellent job Laurie, and glad my simple photo made you smile! Ian

JakeLM     {K:3365} 6/27/2005
This B&W version is better!
I love the light, the tones and obviously the great perspective.

Richard Dakin   {K:12852} 6/27/2005
I do prefer this image in B+W. The removal of colour, accentuates your effective use of diagonal line to develop the power of the structure. I think it also allows the texture of the clouds to soften the image, making for an interesting study in contrasts.

Maria Luisa Vial   {K:36017} 6/28/2005
Great perpective and angle... It really lloks great in black and white...Excellent perspective...

Cheers,

MaLuisa
