About My Girlfriend spotted a family of falcons eating a nice meal at a local Football field. Snapped a few shots... thought I took some good ones... but this is the best! :) I really like the way this one looks though, the blur works well for me! :)

Great shot. I really like the blur on the wingtips! (Thanks for your comment, I know what you mean, my friends had them developed and told me they loved them! But i had to wait several days to see my copies.)

Oh I also like the center composition for this one, normally a no no, this time a yes yes :)

You must have a fast draw to be able to capture these things in flight. Nice panning effect, it emphasizes speed. I was 'dive bombed' by what I think was a Peregrine falcon last year along the Carthew-Alderson trail. However it was moving so fast that I had no chance to even make out the coloration. I could barely see it as it screamed past terrified flying residents. Good to meet you, neighbor. See also image # 10898.
