A delightful portrait! Beautiful rendering of skin tones and other textures and a lovely range from rich warm black to creamy white. I believe I can tell it's not film (those highlights--and on the plus side, the lack of grain) but it must be one of the best digital B&W photos I've seen in a while...

Looks like there is a new sheriff in town. Another wonderful image from this series. The lighting again is perfect. The lighting and shawdows are perfect. As Roger stated - it is one of the best digital photos I have seen too.

Gorgeous Pat! So beautifully done - great light. The little boy is a hearbreaker. Funny how he's looking away, yet the horse seems to be mugging for the camera. Congrats on the award!
