Very nice floral with strong colours and well composed. A little piece of South Africa you have here Ciprian. The Gazania flowers originated from Namakwaland, South Africa. It has a short life cycle (although some species can live to 4 years or more)and produce masses of seed in order to survive the semi arid conditions it came from. It can therefore develop in a weed in countries where it has no natural enemies. At least it can become a beautiful weed! Kind regards.

Dear Joggie,

Thanks for your comment and all the information about the subject; I did know it was South African, but that was all.

It is surprising how they can adapt to the different climate that we have here in the Channel Islands.

Regards,
Ciprian
