About As soon as I saw these handprints on an old farm building, I knew I wanted to make this into something 'dark'. I converted to B&W and greatly increased the contrast. Hope you find it creepy:0.

It is easy, when you see a shot like this, to be drawn to the startling, eerie handprints... an amazing find. However, I am even more impressed with your ability to compose this shot with such balance. The fact that you took it from the angle which included the corner and the framing on the adjacent wall, is what lends balance and perspective to your vision. The amateur would probably have shot this from straight-on, and the result would have been flat and uninspired. This has depth, which gives legs to the image, allowing it to run right into your psyche.
Great intuition, Shirley.
