Dear Mary, this must have been the most importand comment i had so far.I'm refering to "what did you have in your hand that one feels its absence?".My hand is there to cause a split on the viewers look.A split between my portrait and my hand.According to Lacan's ontology, the viewer not only looks a picture, but he is looked back by the picture. This causes a castration anxiety to the viewer which is not an accompished absend but the fear of an impending loss (and therefor an absend).
Thank you very much for your wonderfull comment (yes, i admit my real name is 13A :) )

pan giannakis   {K:17087} 6/28/2005
Hello Judi, nice to see you too, although i used so many "Cybill-Shepherd-filters", you know... just to erase the signs of time --*LOL*--

Ayşe Sanem Çolak   {K:4516} 6/28/2005

pan giannakis   {K:17087} 6/28/2005

Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 6/28/2005
Hehehehe...don't worry about that too much. It is the inside that is important.

Judi

pan giannakis   {K:17087} 6/28/2005
Yes, i know. As a matter of fact i' trying to find a way to wear my inside-out, just like the jackets :))

Judi Liosatos   {K:34029} 6/28/2005
Hahahaha....that is too funny. Just don't wear your heart on your sleeve!!!

That can be painful.

Judi

Your photos are interesting in using colours and structure which I like. This one is my favourite, but generaly it's not the stuff what I prefer. Thanks for comment.
Regards:)

P. Christine Skinner   {K:27338} 10/23/2005
Nice work! Love the old scratchy filmstrip. The toning is wonderful and the candid shot superb. Not an easy shot to capture, a relaxed expression, when photographing oneself.
