Two local women of the Yao minority living in the Longji Ti Tian area. I found these two women walking around the rice fields. Climbing these terraces all day means they are in quite good physical condition.
Incidentally, while you can still see women dressed like this actually working the fields, more commonly they're in jeans and t-shirts.

thanks for the kind comment daniel. most of my photos end up in the travel category and it seems to me that many photos in that group go underviewed and unnoticed. perhaps its because most people have a regular day job and life and dont get out on holiday to places such as those the you see in my photos here. hence, little interest.
ultimately, i take the photos for my own enjoyment. if someone/anyone likes them that's fine. if not, that's fine too.
