Preciosa imagen, le saludo

Nearly perfect! The shutter speed choice seems to be dead on perfect. It's just slow enough to isolate the irregularity of the lesser falls within the total cascade. Any slower and I think you would have lost that. Any faster and it would just be another snapshot of a waterfall.

If I had to offer one negative criticism it would be the underexposure above the falls. But..in all fairness I don't think you could overcome this without some creative use of flash. And, it might actually wind up taking away from the striking image of the cascading water.

Very nicely done.

Great shot love the motion in the water

Alison DuFlon   {K:36165} 6/27/2005
Beautiful shot at a nice angle, the water looks like it is frozen the way you have taken it. Alison

Hi Rebecca

The best part of this shot is the top 2 thirds, down the the waters edge. The slow shutter on the waterfall is spot on and I personally think the dark BG works really well. My only question is with the immediate foreground...not really sure what it is but it just doesn't seem to fit..but still like the shot overall...well done.

Manu

loooks so refreshing... nice to see you back. Up for that get-together, I still have an insufferable amount of time off from work. UGH! Dottie

Absolutely perfect shutter speed. I like the foreground details. They anchor us and give us a place to stand. It's a beautiful shot.

Richard Dakin   {K:12852} 6/29/2005
Peaceful. I am sure the sound of the falls painted a beautiful picture as well.

I love the overall softness of this capture and the angel hair quality of the cascading falls. There is a lightness here, a quiet place to reflect.
