| About |
Around downtown Memphis they have horse drawn carriages that you rent for a tour of downtown. I noticed that almost all of the carriage had a dog next to the driver or in the back seat, when the carriage didn't have a fare. I asked one of the drivers about the dogs and he told me the story. It seems that back in the late 70s they started bringing their dogs as a security measure. Later when the crime rate dropped, they just kept bringing their dogs and it became a tradition.

OMG it's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi . . . what a great dog and a great capture too! These guys are very seldom tired but this one seems a tad out of shape . . . They look like the Cardigan Welsh Corgis (the ones WITH a tail) but without a tail equals VERY active, with a tail equals Couch Potato. Great dogs. Very Loyal.
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~
