Heheheh... one of my recent photo magazines (Photographic, I think?) had an article on taking better vacation shots. One suggestion was shooting a familiar landmark in a new way (Mt. Rushmore was actually the example). This certainly qualifies. (Actually, I would have liked to have seen this shot on the page for the "different shot," rather than the one they included, which looked just like every other Rushmore photo I've ever seen. Of course, the caption said something like, "While you can't do much to change this view...") Very creative.
