nice perspective in a unusual view with great detail. I'm not to thrilled with the background, a little darker perhaps or less lines might be more pleasing?

Very well done shot, Salvatore. Almost as good as Kamran's frog. ;)
I really like the perspective you chose. It is very unique and shows the delicate nature of the rose. The color is very soft and the detail is excellent.

There is a flowing effect to this, isn't there? The soft curves of the flower do give a flowing feel, I think, that you've captured well here. I like the way you've composed this, and how the fine texture of the little creases in the petals add to that smooth feel the shot has.
