well, at first i thought this was asia, and couldnt believe it was the states, until i saw it was in vegas (well nevada but it has to be vegas... no?), where you can find a reproduction of anything.
i like your bio, it pretty much sums up the way i feel about photography. what a great art!

Hey Lori,
This is a very interesting photo. I like the slight overall blur, gives it that dreamy feeling. The colours are nice and the bit of misty blur on the trees at the top is a nice touch. I'm guessing this is some kind of theme park --- the ship on the right gives me that impression.
And last but not least, I particularly like the work you have done with the border. It is very interesting indeed and I am very curious about it.

Thanks, glad you liked this one.
It was photographed at a Las Vegas hotel, a very showy place to be sure!
The border/bottom was created by using a 'Flaming Pear' plugin (for Photoshop) called 'Flood'....
You can go to: Flamingpear.com
and see their filters and do free downloads for 30 days. Many different kinds and lots of fun!

Dear Lori, I like what you did to this with the blur and maybe a bit of other tweaking. It could almost work like something on a Greek island but I think the type of palm tree throws that off slightly. You did a much better job in the Photography dept IMO than the LV team that put it together. I agree with with Saeed - would make a good cover for a children's book. Nice work, Mark
