About This is about the best what you'll get as sunsets go when you're living in a city.... ;-D!! It's my home town Maastricht, the church is the O.L. Vrouwe Basilica and those houses stand along the river Maas. (Most of those houses date back to the late 17 and early 18 hundreds).

Very nice Petal, you can just a hint of what the houses look like. Very interesting area. A great golden sunset. Don.

Very nice sunset/cityscape. There are just enough details on the buildings to keep them interesting. :)

And what is so bad about this? Ok.... no reflections and so on but I love the silhouettes of the roofs. And for those who want a bit more detail on the buildings how about his one? Adjusted levels, saturation (separately for the sky and the buildings), curves to get this....

Lovely shot of an historic city Petal!

Tweaked a bit in PS...

Wow Alastair, the things you do with PS.... it looks great that B&W/color levels/tweaking job!!! Must get me some of that.... ;-D!! I really have to get a manual/book on 'PSing' so I can try it myself.... on the other hand: if the shot you start out with is 'cr..p' you can tweak all you want.... but somewhere in between there's a lot one can try/do.... Thanks again and don't work too hard now.... ;-D!!!

Wonderful warm orange sky here and the housing is kind of cool, not like what we have here at all!
