About Another from Bok Sanctuary. This butterfly finally sat still long enough for me to take a decent picture of it. I?m sure I looked like a crazy person following butterflies around all day!

Marvelous macro!!! Beautiful colors, excellent DOF and crop... well caught!!! Don't we all get that: 'she's absolutely gaga' look from non-photographers.... but hey, you've got the shot, so who cares.... ;-D!!!!

As we now know each other for quite some time, I decided to add you to my friend's list. I suppose that gices me the right to refer to you as dear Laurie, if I have not done so already. That's a series of great macros you posted recently, culminating in the gem. It's razor sharp, the colors are gorgeos and the dof perfect. Speaking of crazy, that's what people probably think of me, over 75 years old lying on his belly to capture a weed...
Thank you for your very kind comment on my "Upstairs and downstairs 2."
Best regards,
Rafi

Beautiful contrasting color and a splendid
composition!

Haha... I know how you feel!!! The number of times I've been running around after an insect with a camera glued to my eye!!! Certainly get some funny looks!

Nice shot Laurie. The butterfly is beautifully detailed and has no overly dak spots, yet you've also managed to avoid blowing out the highlights. Well done!

Hi Laurie,

That is an absolutely stunning macro!!!! The colors are vibrant and the detail very clear. The red flowers seem to jump at me. Great use of DOF.

Congrats!!!
