Mark Kresl   {K:9434} 7/4/2005
There are so many things about this picture that are perfect, Luis. The color, the silhouetted tree, and the rays from the sun are just a few. This is beautiful work.

Now I have visited your portfolio I can see why you chose to comment on an old photo I took with a toy camera... it is one of the few that has an interersting sky! Your portfolio is FULL of them. Amazing colours, clouds, patterns. We have very boring skies in Japan, I'm afraid. This one is particularly attractive to me. What do you teach?

Luis Diogo   {K:6019} 7/7/2005
Thank you so much Roger for your kind comment.
I teach mechanics.
Luis.

Michael Kanemoto   {K:22103} 9/2/2005
Luis:

Your entire portfolio has some really intense and saturated photographs - all of them really well done and balanced. I think the color carries the compositions for the most part.

I liked this shot and chose to comment on it because you combined the tree and sun elements off to the side - a little bit more of an exciting composition than putting everything on the vertical or horizonal.

I think that the silouette is very strong and the lighting was captured perfectly. Good use of a rule of thirds composition.

Luis Diogo   {K:6019} 9/2/2005
Thanks a lot for your sweet comment,Kanemoto...
Luis.

this triangle of cloudless sky and three makes lovely atmosphere; the sun rays are wonderful as well;
well composed and exposed;
good work
