About This is Mr Bowden himself - taken on Tuesday at about 8ish at a reservoir in the pennines above Manchester.

He'd got me good and proper a few times so thought it only fair toget him in return.

This is regualr stop of mine - I love these water falls between resrevoirs, makes a great compositional challenge each time I go there.

This one's different cause of Steve adding interest (for once - ho ho ho ho ho :-) - just kidding) at the top of the shot, hopefully the water leads they eye up to him.

Also, this is the only ever photo sheoot where he'd used a tripod - so everyone has to comment no how much his work's improved :-)

Cheers

ADe

NOTE - 2 more steve shots in the comments :-)

Congrats for BIP.

Stephen Bowden   {K:64540} 7/1/2005
Priceless Ade !!!

Excellent work, I could be critical about the subject though - especially that cheesy grin in the lower photograph, I had obviously seen the camera and 100gigawatt flashgun that was about to re-align not only my eyesight but half the sheep on the Pennine way !!

Congrats on the BIP also, team work at its best !!

Steve

ade mcfade   {K:12388} 7/8/2005
we'll find you one in Patley Bridge :-)

ade mcfade   {K:12388} 7/8/2005
Cheers for the kind comments Dave, always nice to get an award but praise from your peers is better still :-)

I'm thinking of setting up a space on www.photobox.co.uk where people can just buy prints off the site and I get a bit of cash. I got some 30"*20" ones done - really nice quality.

Keep the good work up

Cheers
Ade

Ade, Excellent silhouette of Steve and his "tripod" hard at work. I can understand why his is your favorite stop. Must be so peaceful. Congrats on the award. Marilyn

Louise Vessey   {K:13859} 9/18/2005
Fun story! The composition here is perfect with the water leading our eye to that interesting character at the top right. The silhouetted lighting makes this so dramatic and pleasing. Love this!
