About This photo was taken at My church. This is a reflection of the New Life center at Praise Tabernacle church. The reflection is off of one of those round shiney garden balls.I simply placed My hand over the ball for the silhouette!
I took this awhile ago and thought it fit the new project. It looks like a fisheye shot but is not.Adjusted the contrast, saturation a bit and added the frame, otherwise just as shot. My best..................John

HI John,
Very neat how you did this, so clever you are!
Makes a great abstract, and a colorful one indeed.

Have a GR8 day!

Lea Mulqueen   {K:7396} 7/1/2005
You sure are getting into creative mode lately. Terrific shot!!! Only trouble is...with the way the buildings are distorted it looks to me like the hand is destroying them rather than guiding them!
It doesn't make it less of a good photo...but is probably not the message you intend!

Darlene Boucher   {K:15649} 7/1/2005

Puripaso One   {K:13956} 7/2/2005
NICE John! Real creative and your right it does have the fisheye look.

Ian McIntosh   {K:38909} 7/2/2005
Great shape to that hand even on thumbnail level. Things get even more exciting when you get close up. A strange and beautiful creative vision.
Why oh why do I suddenly remember the magic of watching some beautiful shimmering quivering hand painted cartoons on Sesame Street mid 1970s.

Linda Bique   {K:74033} 7/2/2005
John wow, very very creative. Who would've thought? I thought at first that something had fallen in the water and the silhouetted hand was reaching in to get it, now that was dumb right, unless this was taken underwater...oh well...it's wonderfully done, and a brilliant idea. I like the cross, it looks like it's resting on a red cloth, with maybe the bible under it and the hand is trying to save the cross. I like it very much, very impressive work and concept...well done my friend...:):)Linda

Astonishing image. Looks like an open-air church. We don't have many of those in Japan... (nor many of any kind, come to that, alas).

karen clarke   {K:18847} 7/14/2005
Amazing shot! I love how the hand is included in the reflection making it appear to be causing the rippling effect. The colors are also beautiful, this has an almost childlike drawing feel to it, and the fact that this is from out of the camera is amazing. Well done, one of the best reflections I've ever seen~

Hanggan Situmorang   {K:37824} 7/25/2005
