Hi dear Jan,
no IR filter or something similar here, i get this effect in PS basically with a BW layer, over the background color layer, then i've duplicate two times this BW layer, changing the fusion properties and setting their opacity until i've reached the desired effect.
Indeed a quite simple work..;-)

....mi piacerebbe vedere la versione a colori che in genere è più usuale in questo genere di foto.....ma qui c'è quella luce calda che sbatte su quel casale e lo rende magico.. lo fa risaltare rispetto al resto...ecco perchè il B/W sta benissimo e in più dona all'immagine qualcosa di etereo e spettrale....

..questa mi ha preso subito l'occhio. diamine che toni. scena intensa. Ho letto la tua tecnica di toning...poco intrusiva e molto semplice..bella! anche se credo che la gamma tonale, il contenuto informativo dell'immagine scattata era bello corposo e ben bilanciato ed è li secondo me che sei stato molto attento; in previsualizzazione..
