About This shot was taken early spring during the sunset closed to my parents place of living. Recently I have found a magic place - a beautiful mountain ravine hidden in the fields of corn.
At the beginning of spring this year I found that there are thousands of wild flowers covering whole ravine. Unfortunately I could spend there only two evenings (light was marvellous) and I took about two rolls of Velvia 50 :-) (it is a lot for my standards :-)
Macro lens was used this time.
Unfortunately I have been changing my laboratory where I scan my slides and this time I had to improve colours of this image in PS cause my new laboratory had some problems with green colour. In the original scan green colour is faded and it does not resemble the original. You can see here what I see on the wall when I look at my slides with projector.
Hope you like it.
Regards
Lukasz

The colours turned out great, Lukasz. The composition is also very accomplished and pleasant.

I like the selective focus usage, but I think the focus could be moved a bit forward and show more of the foreground flower sharp, especially the center.

Congrats on having found your own private treasure trove ravine ;)

Outstanding! I like the use of DOF and selective focus. The simplicity of the colours adds strength to the composition emphasising your focal point. A fine vision beautifully presented. Cheers, Gerhardt
