I'm jealous, Ameed. YOU got the image stabilized version, and I wish I could afford it, as about 30% of my 300mm shots come out blurred. :(

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 7/4/2005
Hi Paul,
Unfortunately I don't have this lens :( i have the 70-300mm USM, but this lens wasn't available to the selection, so I selected the nearest one in the list, I wish I have this one to :( this is the best picture I got out of 10 shots :(

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 7/4/2005

Hi Ameed,

good work! not sure why you go for the high shutter, but even at ISO 1600, this is great. nice abstract.

see you next week!
Thilo

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 7/4/2005
Hi Thilo,
It was really dark in there, I've tried with slower shutter but no good result, the only good result i got was with a high shutter and ISO.
See ya next week, I hope you will be having fun :)

Angelo Villaschi   {K:49617} 7/6/2005
Nice experimentation, Ameed.

No tripod? Usually when I see these shots, they are done with the finest possible quality of film and ISO setting.

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 7/6/2005
No Buddy, no tripod, it was hand held :) the only i managed to get a clear shot was with using 1600 ISO speed, even the ISO 800 didn't work,
Cheers,

Stephen Bowden   {K:64516} 7/7/2005
Excellent idea Ameed and a great result, this takes me back to when I used to play the "keyboards", I always wanted to have my own studio :-)

Best wishes,
Steve
