Ooooh...holding your precious digital Rebel just above the surface of the water, Kaj?

Don't you just LOVE that lens? I have a couple of others, but it is my FAVORITE!

Paul Lara   {K:81445} 7/4/2005
Ooops. I thought you had the image-stabilized 17-85mm. THAT'S the lens I'm in love with. ;)

Gregory McLemore   {K:25403} 7/4/2005
Very tranquil and lovely superb composing.

Burak Disbudak   {K:363} 7/4/2005
I like this style. Good work.

A different perspective, lovely low angle and good sun shades. I just find the tones in the water and sky a bit pale. I tried with this:

Outstanding. I love the depth of field and the soft colors. Congrats on the beautiful capture.

Hi Kaj,

Spectacular viewpoint; it really makes this shot. With the relative shallow DOF, the shimmer of light of the setting sun and the details in the dark parts, I think you nailed it spot on....

Cheers,

hugo

Luke Luther   {K:14559} 7/5/2005
Kaj, this is a great alternative perspective image. seen from the perspective of a dolphin or a fish.

Kaj Nielsen   {K:15279} 7/5/2005
Wet no:-)) It was taken from the beach, only 2-5 cm from the water surface.

Regards Kaj Nielsen

You still have your unique way of working along the sea shore, I see. The high horizon and low camera position are quite effective. And you have still maintained some detail in the boat hull. Very nice.
