have you ever seen the Almodovar's film "all about my mother"?
I found in this eyes the same tragedy and sadness.
In that film some characters live their life like a theatrical comedy, they play their life, because "you are authentic if you look like the image you have about you": I found this concept in this portrait

uau! colorismo excelente! e surpreendente incisividade na composição, a despeito do tratamento meio granulado. muuito clássica esta foto, mas com uma "sujeira" muito moderna. os volumes impressionam, são muito escultóricos, quase monumentais, em sua maneira de surgir de repente em com impacto das sombras do fundo
