Grazzi. I'm afraid that exhausts a good portion of my Italian.

luca,
Thank you. You have some fabulous shot in your portfolio. It makes me remember why I loved my MF gear.

Very nice stuff, Eric. How did you get this b&w effect? I like it.

Eric Peterson   {K:4210} 7/6/2005
Angelo,

Thank you. This is actually close to being straight out of the camera with the Cokin 007 IR filter used on the lens. All I really did in post processing other than resizing and sharpening was to adjust the brightness and contrast to make it a bit more high key during the RAW conversion and then adjust the saturation down to make the red image from the IR filter a much more delicate pink tone.

Lovely Capture Eric, I just got an IR filter and can't wait to try it out.
A friend of mine take IR shot all the time and then swaps the red and blue channels in ps. Have you ever tried that?

Best Regards

Sam,
I haven't tried that. I do most of my editing in Elements 3.0 and I don't think it has that capability. I do also occasionally use The GIMP, mostly for B&W conversions, and I suspect it does have that capability, but I haven't really set down to explore either program in depth. I'd much rather be out in the field taking the photos as opposed to editing them...
Eric
