Listenting to and watching children have fun around water is one of the joys of summer. You have captured the spirit of pool play very well. They are both well taken pictures. I vprefer this one, but am not sure why. It catches my eye better. I vthink maybe the shadows makes it look very real. Also, with this one, it would seem the viewer is sitting in some comfortable chair poolside under an umbrella watching them play. That's where I'd like to be.

In both images you caught the children at the right moment, while they were suspended in the air. I think I prefer this one, though, maybe because we can see more of the pool. A moment in time, for sure! We know what's going to happen but here we're allowed to study the event as we can never do in life. In this case i like the tilted horizon, adding a little tension.
