Ah yes.... I know exactly where this was taken! I have a number of shots taken the other side of that hedge to the left! Lovely composition looking down the lake to Windermere. You've caught the peace and tranquillity well.... Great shot Chris!

Sounds like you had a good break, Chris. Hope you come back completely refreshed. I'd like to be set free here with my wide angle lenses! and perhaps my best panorama camera... one day, maybe. But first I would head for our area of the U.K.

Khaled Mursi Hammoud   {K:52583} 7/7/2005

A lovely little town to visit Chris - been there many times and probably in that very bar :-)

very peaceful feel here - espcially like the positioning of the bench in the shot as it draws a mental line that follows the line of the pier, wors really well.

Hi Chris.

What a coincidence, I have just come back from Ambleside and the Lakes today..! Great place and very well represented here.

My MAJOR and I mean MAJOR challenge was all my 100 shots were lost, I think, as the message, FORM or FOR has appeared on the D70...other cards work fine. Any help in this issue would be appreciated..?

Cheers for now.

Manu
