Beautiful image Dwight....you've captured his breeding colors perfectly!

Darlene, Thank you very much for the kind words. In fact it was your photo I admired today Pretty.... that inspired me to re-look at my slides of the Egrets I took during breeding season just recently. Your portfolio is fantastic and I visit it often. Your bird images are awesome. Thank you again. Dwight

Thanks again Jason. I'm glad you took the time to critique the first upload of this which was rather ho-hum. I need to set down with a good book on CS2 and figure a decent workflow out. I never thought of the saturation until you suggested it, and am I ever glad you did. Regards, Dwight

Thank you Marilyn. I see by your portfolio that you enjoy the Florida birds as much as I do. I have shot a lot of film this last year and about 25% of it was of Egrets I believe! Thank you again for the nice comments. Dwight

Dwight: That's some really nice breeding plumage. I always thought the Cattle Egrets were pretty in the spring. Thank you very much for your kind remarks on my House Finch shot. ISO 400 does look nice out of this particular camera. You are correct, though, when they are exposed properly, they all look good at 400.
