Excellent B&W good prospective and Grain !!

Hugo de Wolf   {K:185017} 7/5/2005
Hi Patrick,

As far as I'm concerned, the vertical approach works well here, although I think if the subject had more holes in it (or at least for a more steps before the sone steps take over) , the feeling of depth could've been stronger.

That being Not the case, I think you managed veyr well to create a very interesting photo; good lighting, and I like the textures in both the metal, as well as in the wall. A good shot, and a well balanced composition.

Cheers,

Hugo

karen clarke   {K:18847} 7/6/2005
I like the tight crop and that the window is gone. I feel as if I could reach right in and grab on to the railing and begin descending the staircase. I really like how it begins at the bottom right corner-a great starting point for the eye. The textures are amazing, and the b&w treatment is perfect for the image. Well done~

Patrick Jacobson   {K:29151} 7/6/2005
Im glad you enjoyed it Karen since i put up this for you! =) I also liked that the rail started at the lower right corner as it gave a feeling of the viewer going down there themselves! =)

Thanks to all the rest that have commented so far!

Regards,

Patrick J
