Linda, I have a theory that all good photography is luck, however the more you practice the luckier you get and you were extremely lucky to have a power cut otherwise we would not have seen this excellent shot which has been expertly captured by yourself.

Roberto Okamura   {K:22842} 7/5/2005

As a life rule: 'Seize the day' and as a photographer rule: 'Seize the moment'!!!! And that's just what you did and very well, or how a simple image can be very interesting.... great capture!!! Love the crop, the mood, the light and the (off center) placement of the candle!!!!

Linda, it is a simple, beautiful shot. The candle's position a little off center is great. A very symbolic presentaion. Wonderful.

Superb lighting, Linda. Great framing. Losing power of electricity, gaining the power of romantic love, I think it's more than an alternate power...:)
Hugs,
Hanggan

I'm sorry about your loss of power. We just lost water, temporarily, I hope, but your photo went to my favorites.
Thank you, dear Linda, for your very kind words about my "goodbye at the station" and my "Self loving tree." I'll convey your words to Rachel.
Best regards,
Rafi
