Laurie a lovely capture and a wonderful composition. This was taken with your new macro lens I see, how are you liking it? I'm going to order my new camera today...hehehe I keep saying that but now it's time to act....Is that Butterfly World there in Florida? Excellent work Laurie...:):)linda

Linda,
I am slowly getting the hang of the new macro lens. This trip to butterfly world provided the perfect opportunity to get loads of practice with it. Butterfly world is a little over 3 hours away from Orlando just outside Ft. Lauderdale. It was well worth the trip--I've never seen anything like it. :)

Excellent details, dof and composition!
Congrats!
Roberto.

nice capture, very clear, nice color. you could have cropped off some portion from the right or center the butterfly. it would create better frame. anyway, nice shot

Wow, what a great shot Laurie. Love the composition! The clarity on the butterfly is perfect and the DOF really makes it stand out. Excellent work :)

Beautifull closeup with lovely composition. Vivid green colours also !!!

Andrew Romaneschi   {K:335} 7/8/2005
2 words..extreme clarity! But I wish the butterfly was closer to the lens for a tighter shot. Good work.
