I agree with Kevin, so glad you're alright. Do you work close to any of the stations ? I know I've stayed in hotels close to a couple of them in the past. The stories of what happened down in those deep tunnels are just horrible - total nightmares. What a world we have today. When will this cycle end? Mark,
I'm torn as to whether our "leaders" actually have enough brain power to figure this one out, or whether they have figured it out but are too cowardly to admit it and lead us in the hard path of the right direction.
It's easier to send more young men into battle and then blame "crazed derranged extremist terrorists" when the counter-actions come.
They say brave words about outlasting the will, but that's easy when you are protected by a ring of steel and hundreds of bodyguards. They're not the ones who do the dying.

outstanding photo, angelo. love the long shutter effect. in particular the staggered look of the yellow lights. i assume they were flashing? the translucent residual image of the platform certainly makes the point. well done and a very well deserved BIP.

Death and taxes are the only sure thing in life. But my faith in human love and kindness is rekindled even in the aftermath of such events, by the response of some of those affected.
I prefer to seek the end to the circumstances that drive people to such extreme and desperate measures.

That story reminds me of the time I was out by DFW International Airport and I got detained by the local police for homeland security, while test-driving my studio camera. I told him I was glad I didn?t have my Nikon FE2, Motor Drive MD-12 with my 400mm, and then I?d really be in trouble? lol
