An excellent entry in the shadow project Laurie..and the truth is I quite like your detail here as well..a perfect shadow, even showing his antennae, and a perfect composition too..very well done...I think that wasn't easy to do and that this should get an award...:):)Linda
How close can you get with that lens. With my Nikon 60mm, I can get as close as 9 inches, maybe a little closer...:)

I see what you mean! The head is a little soft but only a touch... probably looks worse on the full size image but on here its quite acceptable. Perhaps a touch blown out on the leaf (underexpose by 1-2 stops?). Otherwise great shot!
