About Just back from three excellent days reading, based with my mum and dad in Weymouth?

This is a shot taken on the way to the lake District on the first day of our holiday. We left at 4.50a.m. and stopped three times before we'd travelled 20 miles for me to take photo's!!! Thank goodness I've got a long-suffering wife!

It's good to be back. I'll get to your shots just as soon as I can!!

Best regards to all and have a great weekend!

Chris

P.S. Shot taken near Glastonbury, looking across the Somerset levels, just after sunrise!

Chris
First its good to have you back. however that comes with a price, your holiday is over. Now to the image. Great stuff. The fog really sets the mood here and this is a wall hanger if ever there was one.

Hi Chris,

For a second I thought this is Serengitty plains in Africa !!!.

Great shot with all those mists. So serene. Looks and feels - million miles away from the tragic chaos of London.

regards,
ken.

so this is why people get up for the sunrise!

I've left pubs and clubs at this time, but never got up to take any shots - yet!

the mist takes an ordinary landscape into the realms of the extraordinary

welldone.

Off to see Steve, Alastair, Margaret and Den in a mo - wish us luck!!

This is positively gorgeous, Chris. The colours, too, are soft, gentle and so very natural. (Did you think you'd ever hear me say that?) Those trees, poking their heads up through the ground mist, add a really mysterious attraction to the scene. I'm so grateful you recorded it. To my favourites!

Neil Dolman   {K:26883} 7/10/2005
Hi Chris, PERFECT!!!!!!!!
Wish i had taken this one :) Hope you managed to get to the lake district on the same day! I like the wide angle and the low lying mist really adds to it here. Nice framing too! Sorry i haven't been writing much lately.

Best wishes Neil
