About The stained glass at Sainte-Chapelle is awe-inspiring, but I enjoyed the gargoyles on the outside of the old church as well. Sainte-Chapelle was built in 1248 for King Louis IX, who later became a saint.

I really like the angle of the photo. The building contrasts very nicely with the blue sky.

Great capture of a famous place, Jeff. I like the perspective on this very much. It makes you feel like your are tilted waaaay back looking up:-) I think you are doing exactly the right thing with your vacation pictures of famous places... you are putting a fresh perspective on familiar sights rather than taking the same view you could buy on a postcard. Well done!.

I like the detail in the gargoyles in this shot, Jeff. It really gives the appearance that they are guarding the building.
