Hi Kiarang, First of all, thanks for your comment. In reply to your request, I visited your portfolio, and I find your approach and choice of composition, use of colour and closeups facinating. Somewhat unusual, but very good, and most of all very consistent. Great stuff! What I like most is the seemingly haphasard way of composing; not following the rules, but each and every single shot does tell a profound story, not showing everything, and thus leaving alot to the viewers imagination.

Hi Kiarang, When I was in Iran, I was fascinated. While it's impossible to fully understand how the Iranians lived, the differences are enormous, and that always intrigues me. *Patrick, i think this chaotic comes from the angle i used, i interested to use unusual angle for showing depth of her loneliness and a big blue space in background, but i agree that the perspective of the pool (lines) in the wide lens is distract. thanks for your analyze!

First of all, let me thank you for your comments on my photos. I'm afraid I don't have so much time to spent on Usefilm as I would like and thus cannot comment on yours likewise.
This one caught my eye immediately because of the beautiful colors (my favourite color turquoise!).
Excellent composition and angle also....great mood.
But, although you wrote in one of your comments that you like the lightpatch on her shoulder, to me it's so distracting (and overexposed) that it keeps it from making it a perfect image. Just my opinion ofcourse!

wow, that is really a interesting, very differnt but very good photo! Congrats on the BIP, very well deserved. I don't think I would have thought of that kind of perspective, but that is exactly the reason I like to get inspired here on usefilm.

Well seen, very imaginative choice of an alternative perspective. Perfect title, conveys the feeling of being lonely in a very artistic manner. Technically I would have been tempted to fix the somehow burnt out looking bright sunlit area on her shoulder, using a composite. Not a major issue, of course.

an original outstanding composition!
excellent angle of view .. it adds to the image.
the only think i'd mention here is that harsh light spot on her back. it's a bit annoying, apart from that this is a great shot.
