Hi Yannis, Outstanding use of a polarising filter to create a unique but very appropriate feeling, not only of the ship / door, framing the guy, but also of being on the water. Very creative, awesome shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

Kostas Tzanetos   {K:22122} 10/7/2005
i dont know if the use of the polarizer was pre-thought here or just an unplanned coincidence, but in any case your choice to keep the filter on and publish this nice picture shows creativity ;-)
i like it!

Good shot

David McClenaghan   {K:9481} 10/27/2005
I really like this one as well.
It has a certain mystery about it, and the 'accidental' special effect is quite interesting.
Cheers

Hi Yannis,i like this one the most..."experimenting" is just the only way...misterious and transient images are attracting me...
and thank you for your comment!
bye, Tund

Mirek Towski   {K:11941} 4/8/2008
Forgive me for being different, but to me it looks like an average shot. I understand the framing is creative and the polarizer effects, but besides that it is a guy walking down the stairs with a can in his hand. Maybe the people who select images should put a paragraph of explanation of the selective process. I think I saw much better images yesterday. If he tripped and You caught him falling with the can flying somewhere in the air, that would be a shot.

wonderfull composition good shot...
