Teriffic shot here Rebecca! I really like the horizontal presentation of this beautiful scene!

A beautiful landscape image. Very well composed, fine lighting, colors and DOF.
I would like to see the inner white part of the frame smaller (two pixel...no intention to offend you.

Wonderful composition, Rebecca...full of colors, definition and coolness. If I were to be picky, I would see if you can enhance the green or levels in the far distance. I know the sun would have been hitting it but it looks a little "bleached" in comparison to the rich colors in the rest of the shot...just an idea?

Great frame that hold in the image and adds to the special feeling you have given to this place.

Cheers

Manu

Simply beautiful! I like the warmer and slightly muted tones in this one - the horizontal format works nicely for this. The light on the two rocks at left is really superb!

Kevin Collier   {K:19076} 7/10/2005
Taken like a real pro - this is beautiful - the exposure is perfect bringing in the detail in both the lighted and shadow areas - very! well done. K

As in your similar posting of a couple of days ago, the motion of the water is captured wonderfully. Del.

Alison DuFlon   {K:36231} 7/11/2005
I love the contrast of the bright sun in the background and the dark in front, you have captured the water so well. Alison

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 8/9/2005
Manu! Sorry, I just got on here and saw this was feautured critique. Have been really busy this last couple months and will continue to be for about another month then it will slow down. I know the background is overexposed :(. I had a print made of this and it shows. I plan on going back and doing this shot again with a nd filter and later in the day to attempt to eliminate this problem. Thanks for your advice, as always. It's much appreciated.

Mindy Frankel   {K:157} 8/9/2005
I think this is beautiful Rebecca - I love the framing and the clarity of the water. If I had to make any suggestion, it would be to brighten the leaves in the bottom right part of the photo where the sunlight is coming thru - just think it'd be pretty if that stood out a little bit more.

Chris Hunter   {K:25631} 8/9/2005
Nice work Rebecca, a ND grad or multiple exposures could have let you open up the highlight detail in the foreground w/o losing it in the top of the frame,

Chris
