Excellent work, here!
Raining at my house too, I live about 100 miles north of the hurricane..

Thanks Linda! You're too sweet. :)

The vase of roses is still going strong so I'm trying to think of creative ways to shoot them. And since its raining again today, I think I'll try to get some more shots.

Thanks Carolyn! I hope you stay safe from Dennis. :)

Again the beautiful tones, Laurie, and again, the lighting is absolutely perfect! Great vintage feel to this with the grain and the sepia. You're certainly making the best of being housebound! :)

Paolo,
A fantastic idea! I tried it with a soft blue and it looks great. I'll post it later. :)

P.J.,
I?m finding that with grain people either love it or hate it. When I looked at this one without the grain it was flat and uninteresting. To me the grain adds a little something to the image.

I like the tone and the closeup here, beautiful rose

i know you added the grain but for me it sort of distracts from the image...makes an already soft image even softer... like the lighting and tones.. the composition is good and fills the image nicely.... good work

My word!!! How much rain do you have there!!!?
I like the treatment of this - the rain adds a feeling of delicacy and the sepia toning makes it all feel very soft to touch. Well done!
